It’s a simple but beautiful game our game of golf. Man, ball, stick, hole; what’s not to be enjoyed from a walk in a carefully manicured lush park combined with a healthy physical and mental challenge? The game has fascinated oodles of people for a century or three and will continue to do so until the end of time. There is the old men’s club at the R&A keeping a watchful an eye on things, making sure the keen students and die-hards are respecting their ancient traditions by upholding the etiquette that the game deserves. But not everyone tows the line. What one man thinks is offensive another man looks upon as pure beauty. It’s common knowledge that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
